Launched in 2008 in the United States, Glassdoor is one of the world's largest employment and recruitment platforms. The site gives job seekers access to salary information, company reviews and job interview questions - all posted anonymously by employees and job seekers.

The company exhibited on October 22 and 23, 2019 at Paris Expo at UNLEASH, the global event for digital technologies applied to human resources management. Glassdoor called on the Allostand platform to easily find the ideal stand contractor for its 18 sq.m custom booth project at the show.

Allostand: Can you introduce yourself and explain your role within Glassdoor?

KB: After 3 years at Google as an account manager and 3 years as a co-founder in a startup, I joined Glassdoor in early 2019 to take care of marketing in the French market. As France is a fairly new market for Glassdoor, I therefore have two main missions: to increase the visibility of Glassdoor in the French market and to develop our prospect base.

Allostand: Are trade fairs strategical for Glassdoor? For what reasons ?

KB: Quite difficult at the moment to say it, since Unleash is the 1st show in France that we have been doing as an exhibitor since the official launch. The test is conclusive for the moment and we will continue in this direction.

Allostand: Can you describe in a few words the brief of your stand project on UNLEASH?

KB: I wanted for Unleash to start with a new design. By attending a few shows and looking on the internet, I was able to get a better idea of ​​the result I wanted: something modern, clean and cozy, which makes you want to stay on the stand. Thanks to my design team, we were therefore able to present a concrete example of what we wanted to the various stand designers.

Allostand: What were your reasons for exhibiting at UNLEASH? What was the impact of your presence at the show?

KB: Unleash is one of the biggest trade fairs dedicated to recruitment solutions in Europe. Whether at the level of participants, other exhibitors or partner companies, all the biggest players are present. So we had to be there. The impact has been quite positive. We were able to meet some of our clients, talk to prospects and answer some questions that people had.

Allostand: What skills and qualities are you looking for in a stand designer?

KB: Three criteria matter to me: creativity, responsiveness, adaptability. Creativity by contributing ideas, Reactivity to align with our needs, Adaptability to understand our constraints.

Allostand: In what ways do you source your event providers generally?

KB: I work on the principle of recommendation a lot, so I would say word of mouth and groups on social networks (Facebook / LinkedIn).
