Bodet Software at the APS 2019 trade fair

Bodet Software has been innovating for over 30 years with its software and hardware solutions to facilitate business management in 3 main areas: working time management, human resources management (HRMS), access control and security buildings. The company has 350 employees and in 2018 achieved a turnover of € 45.1 million.

As part of the development of its building access control and security activity, Bodet Software exhibited from October 1 to 3, 2019 at the APS trade fair (Trade fair for safety and security professionals) which took place at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles in Paris. The company used the Allostand platform to efficiently search for the ideal stand builder for its tailor-made stand project at the show.

Interview with Elodie Besnard in charge of her company's participation in the show:

Allostand: Can you introduce yourself and explain your functions within the company?

EB: I have been working at Bodet Software for more than 4 years as a Marketing and Communication assistant. I take care of the management of internal and external events, such as trade shows but also web marketing (website, social networks, emailings, etc.).

Allostand: Are trade fairs strategical for Bodet Software? If yes, for what reasons ?

EB: Yes, we take part in around ten exhibitions a year, whether in France or abroad. We believe it is important to be present at events related to our industries. It's always a good way to build awareness and attract new prospects.

Allostand: Can you briefly describe the brief for your stand project at the APS trade fair?

EB: We had reserved a bare 15 sq.m stand at the APS trade fair. The objective was therefore to organize this exhibition space. We wanted to exhibit technical equipment (cameras, access readers, etc.) and build signage around our products while respecting the company's graphic charter.

Allostand: What was the impact of your presence at APS 2019?

EB: We had many visits to our stand, which brought us around fifty qualified contacts. We are very satisfied with our participation in this 2019 edition.

Allostand: What do you expect from a stand builder who accompanies you to a trade fair or congress?

EB: The qualities that seem essential to me in a stand builder are: being a force for proposal, responsiveness, the ability to offer trendy, eye-catching and current designs and finally the ability to provide quality support.

Allostand: Before Allostand, how did you source and compare exhibition stand designers?

EB: We mainly used the internet to source suppliers and the relationships we already had with other exhibition stand designers.

Allostand: For what reasons did you use the Allostand platform? Which problem (s) encountered Allostand was able to provide a solution?

EB: The stand builder I had called on initially lacked responsiveness. So I did some research and when I came across the Allostand platform. I wanted to try the experiment. It is great to be able to view the various achievements of providers.
